ABOUT DASMUN XVI
Our Mission
The Dhahran Ahliyya Schools Model United Nations is a student-run organization that aims to foster international awareness through its annual conference. The conference provides an open forum where educational, stimulating, and enjoyable discussions of global issues take place. Every year, hundreds of high school students gather at the Dhahran Ahliyya campus to participate in realistic committee simulations, engage in substantive debate, and learn from their fellow delegates. Realistic committee simulation allows delegates to gain confidence in public speaking, negotiation, writing, and teamwork while encouraging students to be active, compassionate leaders. DASMUN promotes a comfortable and professional atmosphere for new delegates while offering challenging committees for seasoned delegates. Since its founding in 2008, DASMUN has valued diplomacy, cooperation, and ingenuity, all of which are invaluable tools in shaping lives beyond the conference.

It is my greatest pleasure to welcome you all to the 16th annual Dhahran Ahliyya School’s Model United Nations conference, on the weekend of March 8-9 2024. As Secretary General, I am delighted to invite you to participate in this extraordinary gathering of global minds, where diplomacy, collaboration, and innovation will take center stage.
Our mission at DASMUN is straightforward: to inspire and empower you to be agents of positive change. We hope to cultivate your diplomatic skills and ignite your passion for making a difference through engaging debates, collaborative discussions, and innovative problem-solving. This year’s conference will contain 6 captivating committees that hold interesting and various topics to be discussed. We will also welcome keynote speakers who hold many great achievements and can offer great advices to the participants.
The DASMUN XVI executive team is buzzing with anticipation as we await the arrival of the delegates. We have spent countless hours meticulously planning and organizing every aspect of the conference, driven by our desire to provide each and every delegate with an unforgettable experience.
